Black screen interrupting installation-phase of Ubuntu 26.04

I have installed Ubuntu, and have added "nomodeset" due to my PC not reacting on the loading screen while installing Ubuntu. Now I'm stuck with this screen: enter image description here

What does that mean? And what is the solution to that problem?

Comment: I/O errors on drives means failure. Bad timing for sure given the current obscene prices but replacing the NVMe is in order. Good luck.
